How to play
- Slide, don’t turn. Cars are two cells long and trucks three. Each one only moves forward and back along its own length.
- Clear the lane. Everything sitting in the red car’s row has to move up or down out of the way, and that usually means moving other vehicles first.
- Drive out. Slide the red car to the gap in the right edge and it leaves the lot.
Three moves: the top car left, the blocker up, the red car out.

Moves and par
One vehicle slid any distance counts as one move. Slide the same vehicle again straight away and it’s still one move; slide it right back to where it started and the move is taken back. Par is the fewest moves the puzzle can be solved in: every puzzle is checked by a solver that tries every line of play, so par is exact, and matching it is a perfect solve.
Easy, Medium and Hard
The tiers are set by par. Easy puzzles take 4 to 10 moves, Medium 11 to 25, and Hard 26 or more. Each tier deals its puzzles in a shuffled order that’s yours alone, and you won’t see one twice until you’ve played through the lot. Your place is kept in this browser, so you can switch tiers or come back later right where you were.
Tips
- Read the lane first. The vehicles in the red car’s row are the whole puzzle.
- Trucks decide. A truck in the lane has to go all the way up or all the way down.
- Back up to go forward. The car in the way is often one that looks well placed.
