How to play
- Tap a clearing. Each tap cycles: empty → grass (a mark, your pencil) → tent ⛺ → empty again. Marking first is the habit — most of the game is ruling clearings out.
- Give every tree its tent. Each tree wants exactly one tent on an orthogonally neighboring clearing. A tent that stands beside no tree is an orphan — it can’t be right.
- Keep tents apart. No two tents may touch, even diagonally. Pitching a tent turns all eight neighbors to grass.
- Mind the numbers. Each row and column must hold exactly its counted number of tents. The counts turn green when met — and red when you’ve overpitched.
A "0" row: six marks, zero thought required. The other rows still need their tents.

Difficulties
Easy plays on a 6×6 forest where every puzzle falls to pure logic — no guessing, just the techniques below. Medium steps up to 8×8 with thinner counts, where the chains run deeper. Puzzles are generated on your device, so the supply never runs out.
Tips
- Grass first, tents later. Marks are free and they narrow everything. A board full of grass is a board half solved.
- Pair the edge trees early. Trees on the edge have fewer neighbors — their tents are the easiest to place.
- Count after every tent. Need minus placed equals open. When a row’s remaining tents exactly fill its open clearings, pitch them all.
