How to play
- Start on dot 1. The path always begins there.
- Fill every cell. Move up, down, left or right, one cell at a time, never diagonally and never through a cell twice.
- Join the dots in order. Reach 2 before 3, 3 before 4, and so on.
- Finish on the last dot. It has to be the very last cell you fill.
An Easy board, and its one answer.
Controls
| Action | Mouse / touch | Keyboard |
|---|---|---|
| Draw | Press the end of the path and drag | Arrow keys |
| Undo a step | Drag back over the path, or Undo | Backspace |
| Cut back | Tap any cell on the path | – |
Check is free: it points at the first cell where your path leaves the answer. Hint(3 per board) draws the next few cells for you. Best times only count boards solved without hints. Clear empties the board but keeps the clock running.
Tips
- Corners first. A corner cell has only two neighbours, so the path has to run straight through both.
- Don’t strand a cell. A cell boxed in with one free neighbour can only be the finish. If it isn’t the last dot, back up.
- Sweep the edges. Rows along the wall are easy to cut off, so clear them before turning inward.
- Look ahead to the next dot. Before you pass a number, check the next one can still be reached without trapping cells.
Every board here is built by our own generator and checked by a solver that confirms there is exactly one answer, so you never have to guess. Daily boards are Easy (5×5) or Medium (6×6); Hard 7×7 boards are in Unlimited.
