What makes a good puzzle

A Queens puzzle is its regions: one queen goes in every row, column and color region, and no two queens touch. Paint all 64 cells into eight connected regions, one per color.

Every Coronet puzzle is fair: it has exactly one solution, and you can reach it by logic alone, without guessing. Test checks both. Most hand-painted boards have many solutions at first; small, awkward regions are what pin the queens down. The link only holds your regions, never the answer, so your friend can’t peek.
